Herb Butter
Herb butter is a lovely, elegant little addition to the table and has so many uses: toss with pasta and a bit of parmesan for an easy dinner, top a baked potato, garlic bread, roasted vegetables, or place on the breakfast table to spread on toast, biscuits, or an English muffin, or use to cook scrambled eggs or an omelet.
Ingredients
1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1 heaping tbsp fresh dill, minced
1 heaping tbsp fresh basil, minced
1 heaping tbsp fresh chives, minced
1/2 tsp sea salt
Method
Add all ingredients to a medium bowl and stir with a rubber spatula until thoroughly combined. Alternatively, you may also add all ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer with paddle attachment and beat on low-medium speed until thoroughly combined.
To store, cut a piece of parchment paper about 7”x7” and place all the softened herb butter right in the middle. Roll the butter into a log, wrap the parchment around the butter, and twist each end. Keeps in the refrigetator for up to five days.
